 4-H Aggie Adventures for Kids

Utah State University and Utah 4-H have teamed up to create 4-H Aggie Adventures for Kids, a program offering educational day-camps for children and youth in grades 1-6 in Cache County. Camps emphasize hands-on learning and explore a variety of subjects including archeology, robotics, art, history, astronomy, and more!

Spend a Saturday or a week in the summer going on an awesome adventure of hands-on discovery that includes experiments, activities and engaging games. 4-H Aggie Adventures for Kids offers Saturday and summer day camp experiences for kids in grades 1-6. These camps are located on the Utah State University campus in Logan, as well as offered throughout the state for various age groups in Weber County Extension Office, The Ogden River Botanical Gardens, and the Utah House in Kaysville and Washington County.  For Summer 2010 in Cache County, camps will be held at the ASTE Building on the USU Campus.  Please refer to the campus map for location.

Camp topics focus on a variety of science, engineering and technology topics. For the current camp experience descriptions, dates, and times, see our program flier.

Too old to be a camper, but want to be involved? Each summer youth in grades 9-12 are selected to be camp counselors to assist in teaching at camp. In addition to a great volunteer experience, youth counselors receive:

  • Membership in 4-H
  • Staff T-shirts & nametags
  • Volunteer life skill incentive (ex. ski pass, music lessons or a digital camera)
  • Invitations to counselor training events
