
Utah State University and Utah 4-H have teamed up to create 4-H Aggie Adventures for Kids, a program offering educational day-camps for children and youth in grades 1-6 in Cache County, held in the ASTE Building at USU. Please see the campus map to aid you in locating the ASTE Building.
All Aggie Adventure Camps emphasize hands-on learning and explore a variety of subjects including archeology, robotics, art, history, astronomy, and more!

Sun, Dirt, and a Little Bit of Magic JUNE 7 – 11, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 4-6
Do some natural magic. Discover where your food comes from and find your green thumb. Grow seeds and cuttings. Design a perfect habitat for your plants!
Dinosaurs! JUNE 14 – 18, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 1-3
Take a journey back millions of years ago to the days when dinosaurs ruled the earth. Investigate T-Rex teeth, cast a fossil, and discover all kinds of ancient life. Have fun learning about the work of paleontologists through hands-on activities!
Cookin’ Up Science, JUNE 21 – 25, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 4-6
Explore basic chemistry and physics using common items from the kitchen. Mix up some cornstarch plastic, make your cereal dance, brew your own bubble gum, and extract real DNA from strawberries! This camp will get you theorizing like a scientist!
Space Explorers, JUNE 28 - JULY 2, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 1-3
This camp will be out of this world as we explore the Solar System. Learn about the planets, comets, stars, rockets and about the night sky in the Star Lab mini-planetarium. Be prepared to encounter some extra-terrestrial life!
Green Scene, JULY 5 - 9, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 4-6
Discover how kids can help take care of our planet through simple activities. Investigate energy by building a wind powered car, launching a solar balloon and making a solar cooker.
Slimy, Gooey, Gross, JULY 12 – 16, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 1-3
Conduct all kinds of icky, sticky experiments. Get the science scoop as you grow fungus, create your own “worms”, and make your very own slime!
Lego® Robotics – NXT, JULY 19 – 23, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 4-6
Let your imagination run wild! Design and build a Lego Mindstorms NXT robot, then bring it to life with programming to complete mission challenges. Put your skills to the test with a robotics completion on the final day! No previous robotics experience required. All equipment provided.
Lego® Robotics – WeDo, JULY 26 – 30, 9am-noon, $79, Grades 1-3
Let your imagination run wild! Design and build Lego WeDo robots and then animate your robot with basic programming. No previous robotics experience required and all equipment provided.
